Hexthorpe, Sprotbrough, and Newton

A much better day for walking and taking photographs today; it was dry, mild, no mist and no wind...and the sun even came out for a few minutes.

I left my house and walked to Hexthorpe Flatts park and then along the river to Sprotbrough.

I climbed up the hill to the higher part of the village. I cut through the housing estate to get to the path that goes across the fields, a small area of waste land, and a footbridge over the railway to get to Newton and finish by going along the riverbank towards the town centre.
