Doncaster Lakeside and Bessacarr

My first local walk of the second lockdown period; I went to Doncaster Lakseide and the area of countryside just beyond, next to the houses at Bessacarr.

Some large and expensive fireworks had been set off on the grassy areas of the mounds at the back of the football stadium.

It was still quite misty down by the lake.

This area, next to the houses at Bessacarr, is probably the closest area of 'proper' countryside to my home.

I found what I think might be the remains of an underground bunker, but it could also be a piece of pumping apparatus.

It wasn't quite as misty as I returned to Lakeside and completed my circuit of the lake before heading off home for my dinner.
