A few hours out with my support worker today visiting Newark-on Trent and Southwell, it's a trip out I like to do at least once a year...they are two of my favourite easily reachable towns.
We didn't see all of Newark, there's a castle and the riverside to explore as well. We didn't have enough time, especially as I messed up paying for the parking and so we only had three hours.
In the afternoon we went to Southwell, a perfect little Georgian town...which also happens to have a cathedral.
