Having A Bit Of Fun With Bing Images And Google Webmaster Tools

I like looking at my visitor stats, and there are a lot of interesting things there for me.

This first list of search terms used that have caused my photographs to appear on the results page of Bing Images of course isn't from my own personal statistical data - I just typed in two or three combinations of the blog's title and my username.

Tormented Spire Map - this is a photograph of my friend Justin on the riverside at Bakewell. Maybe the tormented spire is referring to the church at Chesterfield with its twisted spire...or maybe Justin's spine, which is actually slightly twisted - causing his 'tormented' pose in the photograph. Unfortunately I couldn't get the image to upload.

Women Flashing At Nature - I think someone would be rather disappointed with this image of Sprotbrough Flash Nature Reserve.

Peaking At Morning Wood - yet more disappointment for someone; someone who can't spell.. This is a photograph of some unidentified fruit or nut just about to fall from a tree.

James Hooton From New Alexandria, PA - a photograph of Hooton Pagnell Summer Fair.

Square Walker's Chips - Portland Square at Bakewell. I'm surprised that a photograph of Walker's Garden Centre at Doncaster wasn't shown for this search term.

The next list is terms that were typed in to search engines.

I'll begin by listing search terms which make the blog, and therefore my life, seem to be much more interesting, exciting, and dangerous, than it actually is.

Japan Nature
Alien Race
Passed Out On Golf Course
Naked Swindon
Burnt Human Remains
Angrilu [this is possibly the hardest road climb in professional cycling]
Inaccessible Island [an uninhabited island in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean]
Naked Woman In The Window
Alien Insectoid
Broken Ankle Selfie

There are some other terms which seem to have nothing whatsoever with the blog. Most of these seem to have been generated by oversees visitors.
I.W.D.I. - Integrated Women's Development Trust [India]
Bodemdaling - a Dutch word translates as 'Soil decline.' It might also mean 'landslip' or 'landslide' and I have written a bit about the Mam Tor Landslide.
'Gladi' Meaning - This is an African word which is used in the title of a film about obstetric fistulas.

The next group of search terms are just bizarre.
Gormless Grin
Tadpoles and Tiddlers - various businesses providing goods and services for mothers with toddlers.
17th Century Boots
Mediaeval Photo Booth
World's Largest Broccoli

There's one final group of serach which feature prominently, all realted to the two placenames, Sutton-cum-Lound and Clayton-cum-Frickley. Since these are all disgusting and pornographic I'm not including them here.
