A Short Circular Walk From Denaby Ings Car Park

A short walk with my support worker today: We started from the carpark at Denaby Ings Nature Reserve and headed out to the west using the TransPennine Trail going along the bank of the River Dearne to Harlington.

We walked through the village and returned to the carpark via Grange Lane, a farm track, and then the footpath that goes right alongside to the road.

Over to the left, as we left Harlington,  I spotted the church at Barnburgh hiding behind a tree.

The next photograph features a bindweed flower, which I've been incorrectly calling 'woodbind' all my life.

The final shot is what can be seen of Denaby Ings Nature Reserve from the road as we approached the carpark at the end of the walk.

Our day out wasn't finished yet though, we called at Sprotbrough for a drink of tea and a slice of granola flapjack each from the mobile snacks concession down by the river.
