I travelled on the local bus from Doncaster to Ranskill and walked along Blyth Road until I reached a country lane leading towards one of the back entrances to Serlby Park Golf Club.
I then joined my first footpath of the walk, heading north towards Serlby, a tiny estate village.
I continued along the road to the southern edge of Harworth Industrial Estate and then turned left and went down the lane to Styrrup.
I finished the walk by taking the footpath that goes across Styrrup Hall Golf Course and then continues over to Tickhill.
