Another visit to a local property that's participating in the National Heritage Open Days, this time the gardens at Hooton Pagnell Hall. I've visited the village many times, but never the hall or the gardens before. Fortunately a regular bus service goes to the village.
After looking around the gardens and the village I walked across the fields to Thurnscoe to visit my dad and then continued on to Highgate to catch the bus back home to Doncaster.
This fruit is a quince - someone was googling it as I was there.
Someone was giving a presentation about the history of the house and the estate in the summer house.
